Dr Racic joined the Sheffield Vibration Engineering Section (VES) in summer 2006 as a Research Student, fully funded by the prestigious the UK Overseas Research Students Award Scheme and first Departmental and then EPSRC-funded Studentship. He defended a PhD in December 2009, and following a year in VES as a Research Fellow, he was appointed lecturer in the Department in January 2011. He works at the interface of engineering, social sciences and biomechanics of human locomotion on a range of phenomena.
